WHO WE ARE  

The Kansas City Dynamite dance team was formed as an outlet for young women to learn dance and be inspired by their own capabilities. 

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We take pride in sharing our passion for dance and providing a fun, supportive and positive environment for people of all ages and skill levels.

Our dancers should focus on their love of dance, rather than the awards that the competition may bring. We believe that our dancers should concentrate on the rewards of accomplishing the end goal of working with a team of girls that they can depend on as a collective. The Kansas City Dynamites promotes inclusivity. It is within our belief that every member of the team holds equal value. We work hard to streamline this thought process thought the team. It is against our values for our girls to compete amongst one another, rather we take pride in grooming the foundation of a sisterhood. Subsequently, we will not tolerate any form of behavior that does not exemplify our values within the team.

MEMBERSHIP DUES

 As an incentive to our parents and girls, we offer 2 ways of payment. You have the option to pay the monthly Dynamites membership of $50.00, or you can pay the weekly membership of $15.00. 

Mentors lead girls through simulation games, conversations about personal values, and activities to balance stress and identify action steps for long-term goals. Learning life skills, such as health and hygiene, goal-setting, and making good choices. An opportunity to build a relationship with a one-on-one mentor.

The purpose of this group is to bring moms together who are dealing with teenagers that are struggling through addiction, self-harm, self-doubt, and general life challenges. This is a difficult time for not only the child, but the mothers as well. This group is a safe space for providing help to mothers who have been experiencing trials and tribulations when dealing with the growing pains of their teenage girls. Our hope is to provide an open forum of communication for moms to be able to express their current struggles, while encouraging one another through the journey of mothering their teenage daughter. We will meet monthly for discussions at the Dream Center. There will also be a Facebook group for consistent engagement and encouragement as we journey through these trying times with our teenage girls. 

Don’t worry we keep everything confidential within this group.

Dream Teen Cooking Classes are designed for young chefs ages 12-17 lesson on healthy ingredients, sanitation, organization and cooking techniques. In our classes, the young chefs learn fundamental kitchen skills, that focuses on measuring, mixing, maintaining a clean and safe cooking environment, and exploring new foods. 

Fee: $15 per class includes food and apron.

 As a mother, we always look for quality time to spend with our daughters. The Dream Center has curated the PERFECT outing to make this happen. At our Mommy & Me Paint Brunch, both yourself and your daughter will paint canvases that you will be able to have and cherish for years to come. The content will focus on positive affirmations and love with a mother and daughter. Brunch will also be provided. This will include 11x14 canvas painting for both attendees.

Fee: $35 and $10 for each additional child

We offers a large variety of dance classes for all skill levels for all ages! Our  experienced instructors are dedicated to sharing their passion for  dance and helping each dancer achieve their highest potential in a fun,  safe, family friendly environment!  Check out our  calendar for dates and pricing.  

Dream Center KC presents the Vendor Mixer! This mixer was created to provide all small and startup local businesses with the opportunity to market and promote their products and services. This event will be held at The Dream Center KC once a month. We are looking for some fun and unique vendors to make this event POP! All vendors are welcome, food vendors, dessert vendors, clothing and apparel, forms of entertainment, etc... We look forward to hearing from you! For a small fee you will have a space to showcase your business while making money too!

BINGO night at The Dream Center is a family fun night that can be enjoyed by children, parents, and friends. Bingo night will be an amazing opportunity to involve the entire community because anyone of any age can participate in bingo.
